History and Philosophy
Zimmer and Associates LLC was founded in 2002 by Bryan Zimmer, a security analyst with a passion for the information security field. During his fifteen years in the industry Bryan has worked in the Federal government, private, non-profit, and educational sectors in organizations ranging from startups to global enterprises. His approach to security is a careful balance of paranoia and sanity. Bryan’s years of experience at the Department of Defense and Netflix made him exceptionally security conscious, while his time in startups and university environments made him more sensitive to the need for openness and usability.

Our team is based in Santa Cruz, California, and performs remote work across the United States. We also offer on site visits in the following areas:
